Ojezua,oshawo attend shaibu's victory party at jattu

As they bask in the euphoria of the hugely   successful Thanksgiving and victory party outing hosted by the Edo State deputy governor, Comrade Philip Shuaibu, in jattu, his hometown, some people  were surprised at the presence of APC big wigs at the event.

 Barrister Anselm Ojezua, the former Edo State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was among other APC big wigs cited at the ceremony.

He led a powerful delegation of the party which included Mr Steven Oshawo, a former APC ward chairman who initiated the gale of suspensions that led to the eventual exit of Comrade Adams Oshiomole as national chairman of the party.

The erstwhile state party chairman and his entourage had quietly walked into the venue of the victory party reception without arousing suspicion but had his presence blown open when the master of ceremony called on him to make some remarks in his official capacity, to which he obliged.

 The Thanksgiving service was held at St Philip Catholic Church, Fugar, while the Azama Primary School compound hosted the victory party reception.

Recently, all APC organs at national, state, local government and ward levels were dissolved and caretaker committees appointed  to replace the dissolved party organs, following the recommendations made at its last National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the party held in Abuja. 

Some political analyst said the presence of Bar Ojezua and other APC big wigs at the victory party reception organised by Comrade Shaibu, reinforces  the truth about moles within the party as propounded by Oshiomole loyalists.

    Realignment ahead of 2023. They can also act as mole in the PDP too though. Politriking is a two edged sword!

Auchi Microfinance Bank groans under high customers debt profiles

By DADA AYOKHAI  The management of Auchi Microfinance Bank (AMFB), yesterday, decried the high indebtedness of customers to the bank just as it urges customers to pay up in order to remain in business. Chairman of the financial institution, Hassan Momodu, expressed his resentment at its 22nd and 23rd joint annual general meetings of the bank in Auchi, Edo  According to him "We are using this medium to appeal passionately to our shareholders and the general public that are indebted to us to pay up to reduce our yearly provisioning and improve our profitability”,  Momodu also said that the increase in the fund in the period under review represented a 29 percent improvement on the fund.
