PUWOV Cogratulates OBASEKI over victory in court

An Edo state Agency, Public Works Volunteer scheme ( PUWOV) has congratulated Edo State Governor,Mr Godwin OBASEKI, on his well deserved victory  at an Abuja  High court  over a certificate forgery case  instituted against him by the opposition party in the state, APC.

According to the coordinator, PUWOV, Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie in a chat  with journalists in Benin City said "Edo people's choice of Governor Godwin OBASEKI is so sound and loud to the extent that the self acclaimed leaders and candidate of the opposition can not change through the backdoors". 

Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie said "the judiciary has once again rekindled the hope of an average Nigerian, stressing that the Saturday's  court judgement restored the hope of many, that Nigeria will still be great again"

The PUWOV coordinator while "thanking Edo people for standing solidly behind the duo of Governor Godwin OBASEKI and his "rock of gibrota" Deputy, Rt Hon(Comrade) Philip Shaibu, said Edo is now solidly on the right path to greatness".

Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie who then "called on the opposition Party to team up with the Godwin OBASEKI led government in the interest of our dear state and people as the MEGA Programmes, when completed, will make Edo state the darling state for investment and other developments".

The PUWOV coordinator then "called on governor Godwin OBASEKI and his team to remain resolute as the people are solidly behind the government to achieve the mega agenda."

Auchi Microfinance Bank groans under high customers debt profiles

By DADA AYOKHAI  The management of Auchi Microfinance Bank (AMFB), yesterday, decried the high indebtedness of customers to the bank just as it urges customers to pay up in order to remain in business. Chairman of the financial institution, Hassan Momodu, expressed his resentment at its 22nd and 23rd joint annual general meetings of the bank in Auchi, Edo  According to him "We are using this medium to appeal passionately to our shareholders and the general public that are indebted to us to pay up to reduce our yearly provisioning and improve our profitability”,  Momodu also said that the increase in the fund in the period under review represented a 29 percent improvement on the fund.
