Senator Obende Revalidates APC membership at IGARRA.

The former senator representing Edo North- Senatorial district at the National Assembly, Senator Domingo obende  has  revalidates his Membership of APC   at IGARRA,  Akoko Edo local government Area.

 The Akoko Edo born senator is presently the  Chairman of the party   Membership Revalidation and Registration Exercise in Niger state.

Senator  OBENDE who  arrived at
 his WARD 2 , UNIT 7, EDEKI HOUSE  Registration point was accompanied  by the Secretary, Edo State APC MEMBERSHIP REVALIDATION and REGISTRATION  Committee, Gen. Idris Bello (rtd).

Ater  the Exercise, the registration officials and  Gen. Bello formally handed over the Membership Registration copy to Dr  Obende to the admiration of party members present. 

It will be recalled that  the Edo state chapter of  APC led by Dr David Imuse  petitioned the APC National Caretaker Committee, led by Mallam Mala Bunu, claiming Sen Obende's nomination as chairman of the party's registration and revalidation committee in Niger  State was illegal, stressing the embattled senator was already serving a  suspension as a result of anti party activities. 

speaking with journalists after the exercise, senator Domingo Obende says "it is important for him to come home, to his base, to get revalidated as a member of the party despite his assignments in Niger State."


About those challenging his Membership of APC in Edo state, Senator Obende said "having served in varrious Committees at the national level of the party, prior to, after the Edo state governorship Election, I can't just imagine where the allegations are coming from except from the pit of hell".

Auchi Microfinance Bank groans under high customers debt profiles

By DADA AYOKHAI  The management of Auchi Microfinance Bank (AMFB), yesterday, decried the high indebtedness of customers to the bank just as it urges customers to pay up in order to remain in business. Chairman of the financial institution, Hassan Momodu, expressed his resentment at its 22nd and 23rd joint annual general meetings of the bank in Auchi, Edo  According to him "We are using this medium to appeal passionately to our shareholders and the general public that are indebted to us to pay up to reduce our yearly provisioning and improve our profitability”,  Momodu also said that the increase in the fund in the period under review represented a 29 percent improvement on the fund.
