Shaibu, Oghiadomhe Pay condolence visit to Imhuekemhe's family

The family of late Dr Simon Imhukemhe have continued to receive a stream of condolence visitors made up of prominent Edo State citizens on the death of their patriarch.
Edo State deputy governor,Rt Hon Philip Shaibu, was the latest to visit the Benin GRA residence of the Imhuekemhe's to pay condolences on behalf of himself and the state government.
Accompanied by his wife, comrade Maryann Philip- Shaibu, along with some prominent Edo State PDP leaders, including Hon Duke Henry Tenebe, Pastor Kenneth Asekomhe, Hon Jerry Gowon and Hon Andrew Momodu, the deputy governor described the late technocrat as a priceless jewel who served the state to the best of his abilities.
Former Edo State deputy governor and the chairman of Edo North PDP Elders council , Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, also made out time in his tight schedule to pay a condolence visit to the bereaved family.
Chief Oghiadomhe prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the great loss, saying late Dr Imuhuekhe would not be forgotten in a hurry because of his selfless service in the building of Edo State.
Late Dr Simon Imuhuekmhe, from Ikhabigbo, Etsako West council area, passed on few days ago in one of the state's health facilities after a brief illness.
He was a consummate technocrat who joined the state civil service and rose to the pinnacle as the Head of Service, HoS.
Also, he later served as Secretary to the State Government, a position in which he was able to display rare traits in both the handling and the execution of touchy government policies.
By virtue of this, he holds the distinct record of being the only person to have served as both HoS and SSG at different times in his distinguished civil service career which spanned decades.
His last position was as Chairman, Edo State Local Government Service Commission.
Aside being of the same Etsako extraction with the duo of Hon Shaibu and Chief Oghiadomhe, Dr Imuhuekhe also served under them in different capacities and at different times
