Abuja Muslims hold prayers session in honor of late Engr Muhammed Bello Momoh

Families, friends, well wishers and Muslim faithfuls converged on Saturday 10th April in Karu, Abuja for a prayers session in honor and memory of late Alh. Engr Muhammed Bello Momoh Jp, fondly called Wahappy by admirers.
Late Engr Momoh was the Doudu 1 of Auchi Sacred Kingdom and a front line Islamic propagator who devoted a sizeable portion of his time and wealth in the propagation of Islam.
The prayers session was organised by the Ansar- un_ Deen Society, in collaboration with the Afenmai Islamic movement.
According to the Chief Imam of Ansar- un- Deen mosque, Maraba, Abuja, Alhaji Adetunmobi Sharaf_ Deen, late Engr Bello supported the body immensely in the propagation of Islamic religion and also gave out scholarships to members during his lifetime to deserving students as well as donated his hotel for use.
Alhaji Adetunmobi said the prayers is the body's way of honouring late Engr Momoh for his good deeds, adding he was generous, forthright and an asset to the body.
Others who spoke at the prayer session includes the President of Auchi Allied Association Worldwide, Dr Shittu Shaibu.
Late Engr Momoh was the pioneer Governor, Abuja branch of the association.
Dr Shittu said, "For me as a person, they were lectures on how life should be lived and I thank Allah for the opportunity to learn those lessons. Wahappy lived. He lived a life worthy of emulation. He is being remembered for the lives he touched not for the wealth he accumulated. May Allah SWT forgive all his shortcomings and admit him into Aljanatul Firdaus."
The President of Auchi Allied Association, Dr Shittu Shaibu, who led the body to condole with the widow of the late Engr Bello and also presented to her a token of support to family in line with the association's modus operadi.
Alhaji Abubakar Inaboya, pioneer President of Afenmai Islamic movement, a body which Engr Bello was a member of Board of Trustees (BOT), hailed the contributions of late Engr Momoh in the spread of Allah's work and for his touching gestures toward humanity.
The current Ameer of Afenmai Islamic movement, Mallam Ismeal Danesi, corroborated what others said about the last Islamic propagator, stressing his commitment and zeal was unparalleled.
Late Engr Momoh died on Saturday, February 27th, after a brief illness and was buried in Auchi in accordance with moslem rites.
He was until his death, a former member of Auchi Polytechnic Governing Council, a financier and APC leader of ward 1, Auchi.
