Man Docked For Malicious Damage, Breach Of Peace in Benin

An Oredo Magistrate Court 1, sitting in Benin City has remanded One Charles Amadasun ( m), of no fix address for malicious damage 
 by forcibly entering the property of one Pastor Fanstin Uwaibi, which is likely to cause breach of peace.


Charles Amadasun was   arraigned on two count  charge of  illegal trespass has  on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 appeared before Magistrate Court 1, Benin City, Edo State.


Amadasun was accused of forcibly entering the property of one Pastor Fanstin Uwaibi situated at 23, Ihama Road, GRA, Benin City on April 18th, 2021 with intent to erect a building and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 81 of the Criminal Code Cap 48 Vol. 11 Laws of the defunct Bendel State of Nigeria 1976 as applicable in Edo State.

The police Prosecution, J. O. Omoruyi(ASP), told the court that , Charles Amadasun,(m), of no fix address did maliciously damaged asphalt laying of Car  park of the building at no 23 Ihama Road, GRA, Benin City.
 The Property of one Pastor Fanstin Uwaibi and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 451(1) of the criminal code cap 48 vol.11 laws of the defunct Bendel State of Nigeria 1976 as applicable in Edo  state.


ASP Omoruyi ,told the court that the defendant, Charles Amadasun committed the offence on the 18th day of April, 2021 at no  23 Ihama Road , GRA, Benin City.

Magistrate, M.U. Iluobe( Mrs), admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of #70,000 with one surety in like sum, adding that the surety must be responsible

Magistrate  M.U. Iluobe,( Mrs), thereafter, adjourned the case to 31st May 2021  for hearing.
