Supreme Court : Etsako West PDP leaders congratulate Obaseki, Shaibu

PDP leaders in  Etsako West local government area of the state have congratulated the Edo state governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, comrade Philip Shaibu on the recent Supreme Court judgement which reaffirmed the status of the duo in office.

The  meeting of the  local government leaders was said to have been called at the instance of the LGA party chairman, Hon momodu  Abudulkarim 

The meeting was attended by all the leaders of the party, the ward chairmen and the leader of the party in the local government Alhaji Duru Yusuf.

The highly-attended meeting   took place at the party Secretariat in Auchi and came out with a one point resolution to congratulate  the Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, comrade Philip Shaibu on the recent favorable Supreme Court verdict.

 The congratulatury letter was signed by the LGA chairman,
Hon. Momodu Abdulkim  and Jafaru Sumaina (ACA)
LGA secretary and other notable leaders of the party in the local government.

A part of the Congratulatory  Message said:
 "We the party leaders and Executives of the PDP Etsako West, heartily congratulate the Executive Governor of Edo State, HE Godwin Obaseki and his able and amiable Deputy Comrade Philip Shaibu on their well deserved victory at the Supreme Court. "
"It is a fitting victory for our great party, PDP and the people of Edo State who freely gave you the mandate the Supreme Court has now firmly affirmed
. We the PDP family are very proud of you and rejoice with you on this victory. May we quickly remind you that the time to work is now."

"Clearly, we could not have had a better choice of governance besides HE Godwin Obaseki and his deputy Comrade Philip Shaibu and the difference is now clear to all."

BORBDA Establishes four integrated farm in Edo state

By DADA AYOKHAI The Management of Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority (BORBDA), has in line with the federal government policy of shifting from oil to the non oil of the economy with emphasis on Agriculture has  established four integrated farms in Edo state. The farms located in Benin, Auchi, okpe and Uneme N'Ekhua were recently virtually commissioned by the minister of water resources, Engr Suileman Hussein Adamu from Benin, Edo state capital.
