Oghuma lost out at APC ward Congress

The recent ward Congress held across Etsako federal constituency has brought out the facts that the Hon Johnson Oghuma, is not in touch with his party members both in his local government and Etsako federal constituency.

Hon Johnson Oghuma is a second term member representing Etsako federal constituency at the house of representatives.
 

In the political scene, having loyalists occupying party positions from the wards, local government and the state level usually determines who gets the  party slot.

In the  concluded APC ward Congress in the three local governments that make up Etsako clan, none of Oghuma's preferred candidates was elected as a party exco member


The most devasting news came from Etsako Central local government  where Hon Oghuma hails where he could not even win his Ward.

  It was gathered that the Richard Lamai and Aloye led group over-ran  Oghuma's group to have their men  taken over the ward exco .

According to those who spoke about the development, said oghuma does not have a link with the party members at the grassroot rather relied on the party machinery at the top to get what he wants.

 Unfortunately for him, the situation has changed for the better. The party members were given the opportunity to choose during the Congress hence the lost by his foot soldiers was expected.

Auchi Microfinance Bank groans under high customers debt profiles

By DADA AYOKHAI  The management of Auchi Microfinance Bank (AMFB), yesterday, decried the high indebtedness of customers to the bank just as it urges customers to pay up in order to remain in business. Chairman of the financial institution, Hassan Momodu, expressed his resentment at its 22nd and 23rd joint annual general meetings of the bank in Auchi, Edo  According to him "We are using this medium to appeal passionately to our shareholders and the general public that are indebted to us to pay up to reduce our yearly provisioning and improve our profitability”,  Momodu also said that the increase in the fund in the period under review represented a 29 percent improvement on the fund.
