Chief Mike Oghiadomhe is plus one

Chief Mike Oghiadomhe and September 4 are like Siamese twins.

Most likely, the closely knit Oghiadomhe family, in conjunction with the legion of his close political associates and well wishers, will converge in his hometown, Fugar, Etsako Central,  or at the Abuja residence to celebrate his birthday.

From all indications, Chief Oghiadomhe's  birthday celebration, a yearly ritual of sort, would be a more subdued event this time around in line with the mood of the nation.

 Nonetheless, his family and well wishers will still find the verve and need to troop into his country home in Fugar or the Abuja residence  to honour a man whose footprints in various spheres of human endeavour are so difficult to ignore.

His Excellence,Chief Oghiadomhe is a man of many parts, all rolled into one strong and enigmatic personality. 

Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, a two term Edo state deputy governor, chief of staff to former president Good luck Jonathan, place in history is settled as a notable and charismatic politician; astute administrator; devoted father, loving husband; staunch Catholic as well as a first class community advocate.

 His fame and philanthropy stretches beyond artificial barriers, having built a solid network of contacts and bridges across the length and breadth of the country
 
In spite of the Olympian heights attained in the course of his earthly sojourn, Chief Oghiadomhe emits humility and compassion like no other and that is probably why he continues to command loyalty and respect from all and sundry, even though he has been in semi retirement from active politics for the past seven years or so.

Not a few have found the Oghiadomhe persona irresistible and interesting.

BORBDA Establishes four integrated farm in Edo state

By DADA AYOKHAI The Management of Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority (BORBDA), has in line with the federal government policy of shifting from oil to the non oil of the economy with emphasis on Agriculture has  established four integrated farms in Edo state. The farms located in Benin, Auchi, okpe and Uneme N'Ekhua were recently virtually commissioned by the minister of water resources, Engr Suileman Hussein Adamu from Benin, Edo state capital. In his address during  the commissioning of 4 Integrated Farm Schemes (Songhai Model)  the Managing Director of Benin owena River Basin  development Authority, Engr saliu Ahmed said the will to established the farms was borne out of the directive of the minister directing river basins across the country to set up an integrated farm in Senatorial district in every states of the country.   Engr.
