Edo lists Jattu-Iyuku ,Poly Campus 2, Ajayi-momodu roads for rehabilitation

The Edo State government has given the inhabitants of the state an assurance of commencing the rehabilitation of roads across the three Senatorial District in the state as soon as the rains reced.
The assurance was contained in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Infrastructure, Mr. Ferguson Enabulele.
According to the Permanent Secretary, the said roads penciled down for rehabilitation are located in Edo South, Edo Central and Edo North Senatorial Districts, noting that the move is in line with the government’s commitment to ensuring durable infrastructure to improve livelihoods and drive urbanization.
According to the report, 13 roads are earmarked for rehabilitation in Edo North in the first phase but only four were mentioned.
"The roads in Edo North include Iyate-Oyagha Grammar School Road, Poly Campus 2 Road; Jattu-Iyuku Road, all in Etsako West LGA, and Federal Government Girls Road, Ibilo, Ajayi Momodu Road, in Akoko Edo LGA, among others.
Mr. Enabulele said the exercise would be undertaken in phases, adding that while the first phase will soon commence, a list of more roads to be rehabilitated across the state are being compiled for subsequent phases.
“The total number of roads to be rehabilitated in this phase is 91, with 67 in Edo South; 11 in Edo North and 13 in Edo Central,” he said.
