Oghiadomhe, Dokpesi, Tenebe, others picked as members of PDP convention committee

Former two term Edo State deputy governor, Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, made the list of top notch Edo North PDP leaders picked to serve as members of the party's national convention planning committee.
Among the prominent Edo North PDP leaders who made the list includes High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a media mogul and the founder of AIT, the first private broadcast station state the country; Chief Dan Orbih, former Edo State PDP chairman and current national vice chairman of the party in the South - South zone; Hon Paschal Ugbomeh, former Etsako Central council chairman and the Edo North coordinator for Gov Obaseki's re- election bid and Hon Chief Henry Duke Tenebe, a top notch Edo north leader of the party.
Others are Hon Bankole Balogun, Barrister Ritchie Anethekhai and a host of others.
Recall that in the midst of the leadership crisis which engulfed and almost threatened to tear the opposition party into shreds, the NWC, NEC as well as the party's BOT decided to shift its national convention earlier scheduled for December forward.
A new convention date in October was chosen by the vital organs of the party as part of measures to give the embattled national chairman of the party, Chief Uche Secondus, a soft landing.
The October national convention of the party is expected to elect new national officers who will pilot the affairs of the party come 2023 and even beyond.
The names of Chief Oghiadomhe, also a former Chief of Staff, CoS, to former President Goodluck Jonathan, and the other Edo North leaders, was unveiled to the public via a full page advert sponsored by the PDP in some selected national dailies.
Chief Oghiadomhe was named as a member of a 22- man sub committee on screening.
