Edo PDP Chairmen, 4 others get court order to participate in Party's National convention

An Abuja High Court sitting in Federal capital Territory ,Fct, has  given clearance to 5 Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Chairmen from Edo North District of the state along with four others whose name were not  listed in the court order, the clearance to participate  in the party National Convention slated for October 30 and 31 without restraint.

The interim restraining order was delivered by justice M.B. Belogore .

Justice Belgore, relying on motion on Ex-parte  motion filed by C.P Aninwoya Esq granted the prayers of the claimants.


The Chairmen in a suit no.Fct/HC/CO/2689/21m/7111/2021 had dragged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the National chairman of the PDP National  convention who is also the Governor of Adamawa state, Ahmadu  Fintiri or  his agents from preventing them from participating in the party's National Convention.

The 5 Local government Chairmen , Kayode Ogunnbi, Hon Kassim Abdulkarrem, Vincent Ekpemoriu, Ebozojie Lesie, David Okoh Aigbodion and four others are part of those  suspended by a faction of  PDP leaders in Edo State.
