The Hon representing Owan Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon Julius Ihonvbere has brought joy to the Uhonmora Community in Owan West Local Government Area over his decision to construct a block of 6 classrooms to community secondary  school, Uhonmora Grammar School, which is presently in a dilapidated condition.

The Hon member made this disclosure on his Instagram page.

According to Prof Ihonvbere, he took the bold step and decisions based on reports from constituents complaints about the deplorable condition of the only secondary school serving the community.

He said "This is coming in following reports from constituents on the long abandonment and neglect of the school by both the local and state government, despite the huge funding received from the federal level including the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEC)."

"This move, is a promise fulfilled and a demonstration of my unrelenting commitment to the development of education and human capacity in the constituency as residents expressed gratitude for the timely intervention".

"The ongoing construction of the school is to ensure our children/wards get exposed to sound and quality education as well as access to comfortable learning environment."

"It will also encourage parents, to enroll their wards into public schools and avail them a healthy platform to get relevant skills in becoming great in the society "
