Jarrett Tenebe returns as Edo APC deputy chairman

The Edo State chapter of the All progressives congress, APC, has returned Mr Jarrett Tenebe as the party deputy chairman .
Jarrett Tenebe along with others state officers were elected through affirmation by the party delegates during the party state congress which took place at the University of Benin sports complex, Benin, Edo state capital.
Mr Tenebe who hails from ikabigbo, Etsako West local government in Edo north district of the state is one Young Turks expected to managed the affairs of the party in the next four years.
Tenebe who command large followers especially among the Youths in the Edo north became the party deputy state chairman last year during the face off crisis between Edo state governor Mr Godwin Obaseki and his godfather, comrade Adams Oshiomole.
The crisis led to the defection of the former deputy chairman, a fellow Etsako man, Mr Asekhomeh to the PDP and was immediately replaced with MrJarrett Tenebe.aka emperor
The congress which was attended by party leaders across the state did not commessed early as planned due to what was described as meeting between meetings by the party leaders in appealing to some contestants to step down their ambition to enable the party have a consensus candidates.
In his remarks at the ceremony, the Immediate National Chairman of the party and two term governor of the state, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, speaking on behalf of party leaders in the state, commended the congress committee for the manner it conducted the congress, just as he appreciated all elected urging them to be focused.

Also speaking at the occasion, the returned Chairman of the party, Col. David Imuse (rtd), leading majority of his executive members, recalled the challenges the APC in Edo State faced and assured that under his leadership, the party was fully prepared to play the role of a credible opposition with constructive criticisms while preparing to return to power.
