Orbih Ambush Obaseki "boys", secures court order in Abuja to attend PDP convention

The PDP vice chairman south South zone, Chief Dan orbih has played a smart one on the Edo state governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, over an attempt to use Edo state judiciary to scuttle his participation in the party National convention slated for Abuja on October 30 and 31 in Abuja through a restraining Court order.

The Obaseki"s camp had through proxies, Chief Idehen Manfred Ekundayo, Mr. Stanley Iduoze and Odior Omadimhe (Claimants) in the suit marked B/218/os/2021 aim to secure a restraining order from an Edo State High court sitting in Benin restraining Chief Orbih, Ogbeide Ihama and all those earlier suspended from participating in the PDP National convention.
The court presided over by justice Okeaya-Inneh refused to retrained Chief Orbih, Ogbeide ihama and all the suspended party members rather placed them on notice and subsequently adjourned the matter to November 2 for hearing.
The meeting to ratified earlier suspension order of the party tagged Edo state PDP Leaders was attended by governor Obaseki and his deputy , Philip shaibu.
In a smart counter move, Chief Dan orbih within the same period got a court order from a federal High Court in Abuja presided by over by justice O A Adeniyi restraining any servant,agent from giving recongnition to any decisions arising from the ratified meeting of Edo state PDP leaders held on the 14 October 2021.
It would be recall that chief Orbih had earlier got a restraining order from Abuja court nullifying the suspension placed on him by the Edo state PDP.
Similarly, the PDP National Working Commitee, South South PDP and the Edo State chapter of the party have in unionism at different fora described the suspension as a nullity.
