PDP National Convention: Obaseki's Harmonization list suffers set back........., court orders usage of Original Delegates List.

An Abuja High Court   Holden at Bwari, Abuja FCT, has granted an Interim Injunction stopping the  PDP, from tampering or substituting other names to replace those duly elected as statutory delegates for the PDP National Convention .

The Edo State governor Mr Godwin Obaseki has in a meeting of PDP leaders held at the Government House directed that harmonization list must be ready ahead of the national convention of the party.
The court order has temporarily brought to an end the issue of which of the list between harmonization and original to be used by Edo delegates at the convention.

In Suit No. FCT/KC/CV/2689/21
M/7111/2021 between Kayode Ogunubi, Akoko-Edo PDP Chairman and others, being the Claimants/Applicants, and PDP, His Excellency,  Governor Finitri,  being the Defendants, Councel to the Claimant/ Applicants, Chief Ferdinand Orbih SAN in an originating summons argued by C.P. Aninwoya Esq. Obtained an Order of court granting  Order of Interim Injunction restraining the Defendants at any level by itself, its servants, agents, officers...from substituting the Claimants/Applicants with others who are not in the already established Edo State PDP Delegates list for the National Convention scheduled to hold on the 30th/31st October 2021 or any other date, pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice. 


The Court granted the applications, i.e. - an Interim Injunction as prayed by the Claimants/Applicants restraining the Defendants from substituting the names of the established Delegates,  and also restraining the Defendants from preventing the Claimants/Applicants from attending the Convention. 

The case was Adjourned to 29/10/21 for Motion on Notice (M/7112/2021/ to be taken. It was duly signed by Hon. Justice B. Belgore, the Presiding Judge of the Court.

Auchi Microfinance Bank groans under high customers debt profiles

By DADA AYOKHAI  The management of Auchi Microfinance Bank (AMFB), yesterday, decried the high indebtedness of customers to the bank just as it urges customers to pay up in order to remain in business. Chairman of the financial institution, Hassan Momodu, expressed his resentment at its 22nd and 23rd joint annual general meetings of the bank in Auchi, Edo  According to him "We are using this medium to appeal passionately to our shareholders and the general public that are indebted to us to pay up to reduce our yearly provisioning and improve our profitability”,  Momodu also said that the increase in the fund in the period under review represented a 29 percent improvement on the fund.
