Gunmen kidnap two students of Glory Land school, Igarra

Two pupils of Glory Land Group of Schools  Igarra, Akoko Edo local government area of  Edo were kidnapped on Tuesday at 5:35 pm on the Igarra-Auchi Road, near Ikpeshi, Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo.

The spokesman for the police command in the state, SP Kontongs Bello, confirmed the abduction and said that police operatives, soldiers and vigilantes were combing bushes in an effort to rescue the pupils.

It was gathered that two children identify to be a boy and a girl belonging to one Mr. Kola who is a Coldroom owner in Auchi .

The abducted students were said to have been separated from the rest pupils who boarded a green Siena school bus were eventually whiskered away into the bush leaving the driver and other pupils behind.

The source said, there were internal collaborators who identified Mr Kola's children inside the vehicle.  

 The vehicle in which the pupils were travelling in company with other pupils, was said to have been intercepted at gunpoint and the abductors dragged the two pupils from the vehicle into a bush.

They were said to be returning to Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo, after the close of school when they were kidnapped.
