Momoh commends Benin- Owena over establishment of integrated farms

The former hon member representing Etsako federal constituency at the National Assembly,Hon Engr Momoh Abubakar has commended the management of Benin owena river basin authority for the establishment of integrated farm in the district.

Hon Momoh made the disclosure at the commissioning of the farm at Auchi.

Hon said the establishment of the farm will be a catalyst for youth involvement  in farming which is now be seen as a profession.

The former reps member who has the record of spreading human face projects across the constituency when in office also said by extension the farm will be a way of reducing hunger in the land and opening up the farm site for rapid development.

The Benin Owena under the leadership of Engr Ahmed saliu established 3 farm across the Edo north district, namely Auchi, Etsako West local government, okpe and Uneme nekhua, both in Akoko Edo local government.

The farm were commission by the minister of water resources, virtually from benin, Edo state capital.

    Great, like the great Sadeeq of Auchi sacred kingdom, the Managing Director of Benin Owena River Basin rightly said, we give honour to whom honour is due; Engr Momoh is constituency Projects personified' we are borrowing queue from the Rt.hon. Engr Abubakar Momoh' who is popularly known and addressed as Mr. Credible genuine, laudable constituency Projects spread all over.

Auchi Microfinance Bank groans under high customers debt profiles

By DADA AYOKHAI  The management of Auchi Microfinance Bank (AMFB), yesterday, decried the high indebtedness of customers to the bank just as it urges customers to pay up in order to remain in business. Chairman of the financial institution, Hassan Momodu, expressed his resentment at its 22nd and 23rd joint annual general meetings of the bank in Auchi, Edo  According to him "We are using this medium to appeal passionately to our shareholders and the general public that are indebted to us to pay up to reduce our yearly provisioning and improve our profitability”,  Momodu also said that the increase in the fund in the period under review represented a 29 percent improvement on the fund.
