Imiegba Community gets first Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN

It was a joyous moment on Wednesday in Abuja as indigenes of 
Imiegba community, Etsako East Local Government Area in  Edo North district of Edo state, celebrated one of their own, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who was conferred with the prestigious title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

 Abdullahi is an associate Professor of Law  at
the Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.

With his investiture of the rank of SAN, he becomes the first person in Imiegba and North Ibie  axis to attain the feat in the legal profession.

His elevation  is based on the heels of his outstanding contribution to the development of law in Nigeria, in addition to his enviable feats in the legal profession.

He was among those sworn in on Wednesday, 8th December, 2021 by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad, following recommendations and approval by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC).

Leadership of Imiegba community’s association and other well-wishes joined the legal luminary in the celebration (after the conferment of SAN title) that took place NAOWA Event Centre, Mambila/Gowon Barracks, Abuja, while torrents of congratulatory poured in from various social media platforms for the uncommon feat.
