Abducted Hartland expatriate regains freedom

An expatriate with Hartland construction company
who was kidnapped by Gunmen at idegun Community, Anwain, Etsako West local government area has been released by his abductors.

The expatriate who was kidnapped while supervising an Edo State road construction project in Anwain clan was said to have been released to his employer at Anegbette, a village in Etsako Central LGA with boader with Esanland .

A police officer attached to the expatriate was killed during the operation.

It was gathered that an amount within the 50 million range was paid     as ransom to secure his release.

The Anwain Community are now apprehensive if the road projects will not be abandoned due to insecurity.
