Gunmen abduct Hartland expatriate,, kills Police orderly in Anwain

Unknown  Gunmen have  invaded the idegun Community, Anwain clan, Etsako West local government and abducted a white expatriate attached to Hartland construction company killing the police ordeal attached to him in the process.

The  ugly episode occured Monday evening   at the  idegun secondary school at idegun community.

According to eyewitness, the the expatriate was  supervising the state government awarded contract for the construction of Anwain- idegun road when he was kidnapped .

The  Armed men who were said to be more than 5 in a group appeared from the bush shooting sporodically, killing the  police ordely, picked their victim and fled into the  bush that led to Esan 
 
The police personal were said to arrived later to evacuate the remains of the body.

Meanwhile, the local vigilantes are said to be presently combing the bushes in  the Area in search of the expatriate.

The Edo  police command through the public relations officer, Bello  kontom in an telephone interview said he is yet to be briefed on the issue.

Recall, a driver  and two police Men with Hartland Construction Company simply identified as Buhari   were  allegedly shot dead by gunmen in the process of kidnapping an expatriate along Benin-Auchi express way in Edo state capital last year.

Auchi Microfinance Bank groans under high customers debt profiles

By DADA AYOKHAI  The management of Auchi Microfinance Bank (AMFB), yesterday, decried the high indebtedness of customers to the bank just as it urges customers to pay up in order to remain in business. Chairman of the financial institution, Hassan Momodu, expressed his resentment at its 22nd and 23rd joint annual general meetings of the bank in Auchi, Edo  According to him "We are using this medium to appeal passionately to our shareholders and the general public that are indebted to us to pay up to reduce our yearly provisioning and improve our profitability”,  Momodu also said that the increase in the fund in the period under review represented a 29 percent improvement on the fund.
