Oje of Ora chiefs went to condole Ihonvbere, not to endorse him _ Oje of Ora

The Royal father of Ora clan in Owan West local government area of Edo State, HRH Jeffery Eromose Okaingbuan, Oraekpen II, the Oje of Ora has given an insight to why he delegated his chiefs to visit the Hon. Member representing Owan federal constituency at the National Assembly, Prof Julius ihonvbere.
In a statement signed by the secretary to the Oje-in-Council, Mr Austin Imohimi said the delegation of chiefs addressed as Oje-in-Council that visited Prof Julius Ihonvbere on the mandate of the Oje of Ora was purely to condole him over the death of his mother, who died few weeks ago.
The statement further claimed that Oje of Ora council of chiefs were highly embarrassed with the misrepresentation of the trip by the media aide of Prof Ihonvbere who posted on his facebook page that the delegation endorsed the rep member aspiration.
The statement read thus;
It has come to the attention of HRH. Jeffery Eromose Okaingbuan,
Oraekpen II, the Oje of Ora
that a delegation sent by the Oje-in-Council on a commiseration visit to Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, member representing Owan Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, over the demise of his mother, has been misinterpreted and misrepresented by his media aides as an appreciation visit and an endorsement of his political aspiration by the Royal Father and the entire Ora Clan.
It is most shocking to read statement credited to Joshua Araoya on Facebook where he clearly misrepresented the facts and embarked on deliberate falsehoods.
The Palace of The Oje of Ora is highly revered and apolitical. It should therefore not be dragged into partisan politics.
The public is therefore adviced to take note in this regard.
